 Terry Alley, a native of Pagosa Springs, pursued a career in education, earning his Bachelor's degree from Fort Lewis College, Master's degree from Western State College and Superintendent Endorsement from the University of Colorado. He retired after 31 years with Archuleta County District 50 Joint. During his tenure, he served as teacher, coach and school principal, though for his last 21 years with the district, he was superintendent of schools.
Mr. Alley has been involved in a variety of organizations over the years and currently sits on the board of directors for Archuleta Housing, Charles Hughes Foundation, Archuleta Scholarships in Escrow and Archuleta Housing for the Elderly. He is also lending his grant writing expertise to several non-profit organizations. He and his wife Jennifer have four children.
A member of the LPEA board since 2001, Mr. Alley currently is board president and serves on the Administration Committee, Budget Finance and Audit Committee, External Organizations & Issues Committee as well as the FastTrack board.

 Harry M. Cole, born in Dulce, New Mexico, attended school in Pagosa Springs. Mr. Cole operated his own grocery store in Pagosa Springs for 12 years and was a vice president at Citizens State Bank for eight years. He is a past master of the Pagosa Springs Masonic Lodge, and a past president of the Pagosa Springs Lions Club.
Mr. Cole, who earned his Credentialed Cooperative Director certificate, is presently a member of LPEA’s System’s Operation & Planning Committee, and serves on the WESODI board of directors.

 Bob Formwalt was raised and educated in Southwest Colorado, completing his education in Business Administration at Fort Lewis College.
Initiating his career in the banking industry, Mr. Formwalt rose through the ranks at Belgrade State Bank of Belgrade, Montana and Burns National Bank of Durango. Ultimately he served as Executive Vice President, with a focus on real estate and agricultural loans.
Mr. Formwalt’s involvement in Archuleta County includes service on the Upper San Juan Planning Commission, San Juan Soil Conservation District Board of Supervisors, Archuleta County Airport Board, San Juan National Forest Grazing Advisory Council, Archuleta County’s Weed and Pest Control District Board and the 208 Water Quality Control Council.
An Archuleta County Commissioner for 12 years, Mr. Formwalt’s volunteer experience also includes the San Juan Resource Conservation and Development Board, Colorado 208 Water Quality Control Board, Colorado State Soil Conservation Board, Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, Colorado Abandoned Mine Lands Advisory Council, Colorado Job Training Job Partnership Board and Private Industry Council, Southwest Colorado Workforce Investment Board, Region 9 Economic Development District Board and Governor Romer’s Smart Growth Initiative.
Currently a rancher with his wife Jessie, Mr. Formwalt also serves part time as a commissioner for the Colorado Division of Water Resources. With LPEA, he is the Western United representative, chairman of the External Organizations & Issues Committee and serves on the Budget Finance & Audit Committee.
